At the time I purchased my RV, I had been living in Minnesota for fifteen years and worked remotely, from home, for five of them. I had adopted my travel companion, Brizzy, two years earlier. I had spent about a year researching various RV sizes and types, and I had rented one to see how everything would flow. Despite the preparation, I struggled to pull the trigger.
One day, while randomly searching RVs on RV-Trader, I found one that looked "good enough". I realized that if I didn't make the move then, I never would. It was the perfect size. It was used, and therefore priced right, and the coloring stood out. On a whim, I purchased a one-way ticket to LA (where the rig was located), asked a friend to join me, and began the long journey of preparing my rig, and life, for the road.
